April Culinary Club Report

Last night the Culinary Club visited Ten Mercer (see previous post). We had a great time, but the reviews were mixed. The striped sea bass was not available (even before 7 PM!) so there were many disappointed before we even ordered. The hit drink of the night was their “Pearadox” made with Absolut Pear, simple syrup, house sour, and a sugared rim – fantastic! Other good reviews was the chicken which, according to one friend who had it was “not tough like regular chicken” and quite flavorful. They also made a mean strawberry rhubarb pie. Good stuff! Our ratings on a scale from 1 to 10 ranged from 6 to 8.5.
